Learning photoshop in 2010!

I used to dream of having a twin sister when I was a kid. I always find having someone who exactly seems like the other. Its silly when someone wonders and intelligently guess whose A and who’s the other A. But, unluckily, I didn't have a twin. I just have a sister. At least I have one though.

I remember one time I had the time in editing some pictures I took by myself and I ended up having a reciprocated my picture to make it seems like I have a twin.
It's pretty obvious that it was an edited one. I didn't use much of the available tools for photo shop since I barely know anything about doing it, but lately I realized I wanted to learn more about editing graphics or pictures. If only I have time.
I have a friend who basically knows something about editing pictures and making fancy images out of the ordinary. She just learned through the photoshop free tutorials which she gladly found while browsing the net and after some time she started trying to do it by herself.

Next year, I'm set to learn for wandering the power of photo editing. I'm going to make my self worthy whenever I'm free from work.

(that was me and my fake twin..haha)
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!

Firecrackers in Welcoming the New Year

Filipinos are fond of welcoming the New Year with firecrackers without any doubt of spending big amount of money just to make a large amount of noise and to see the beautiful lights it creates. I always want to make noise during New Year's Eve in my belief that it would send the bad spirits and bad luck away but I'd rather make noise through the use of some musical instruments or even just the use of kitchen utensils.

Last year, there were almost 450 reported cases of injuries and some were hit by strayed bullets. It’s good to welcome the coming year with complete set of fingers and be not physically hurt.
Let's be more careful and be safe as we welcome another prosperous New Year.

Countdown begins for 2010

Only few hours to go, and we'll bid goobye to 2009 but we'll welcome a prosperous 2010.Happy New Year to Everyone!

To my dear blogger friends and readers, thank you for the wonderful 2009 we've shared together through the world of blogging!.
We'll still be friends by heart as we welcome another exciting year.

Happy New Year to ALL!!

Alexa is a powerful tool!

When I started blogging way back few months ago, I was baffled with all the applications and widgets I needed to have. I've been looking around other sites especially to some people who do blogs and was stacked peeking on every single thing they have on their own page. Every time I go to another site, there is always the little box which indicates the traffic rank or it would mean on how well your site is being visited against any other sites. So, I started putting my own Alexa toolbar for the benefit of being ranked. Alexa ranks each website based on the number of visitors it receives. However it only counts those who visit your site and have already downloaded the Alexa toolbar. Anyone can download the toolbar for free which is automatically added to your browser and tracks the sites you’re visiting. Increasing visits from those who do not have the Alexa toolbar installed will not help your Alexa ranking. Take note, the lower the Alexa ranking number the more heavily visited the site. I started with almost ten million and now I'm down to just a million. That's a big improvement for me. My goal for the mean time is to hit less than a million and from then on, hit less than a hundred thousands or more. I know it's possible with all every means. And I'm doing whatever is necessary just to hit my goal in time.

Get rid of Dark Circles around your Eyes!

We all love to have smooth, radiant, fresh looking skin but if you're suffering from acne blemishes, having clear and perfect skin can seem like a distant dream. But having a perfect skin doesn't come with just a blink of an eye. Dark Circles around the eyes is one of the most common problems with all ages. Eyes are one of the first places to show aging.Skin around the eyes is extra thin so you'll want to protect it especially from too much sun exposure. It’s better to use an eye cream daily just to prevent having those dark circles around the eyes. A great one is Clarins Eye Contour Care SPF30. It’s actually designed for the eye contour area that doesn't burn, sting, irritate or bring you to tears. It is basically formulated with a revolutionary plant-based complex that helps prevent lines, wrinkles and premature aging.

With proper care, you no longer need to hide your face behind the mask.
As beauty comes, confident grows!

The true-love tale of Boyfriend and Girlfriend

My long wait was over. I've finally watch the short film entitled The true-love tale of boyfriend and girlfriend starred by the ever beautiful Hilarie Burton and dearest handsome Austin Nichols brought to us by Southern Gothic Productions.I could say it was really worth the wait and I guess it has been one of the best eight minutes of my life. I’m not exaggerating. I love the sweet lines, the costumes or the wardrobe, the location, and everything in the short film. It’s really southern gothic.
It is now available to download so we could have it in our dear IPODs or to any music player for only $2.99.
Not bad for the year ender film.

I am a Great Believer of my FAITH

We spent our Christmas Eve and the whole day of Christmas in the hospital since my sister has not been recovered from Dengue and still being confined in Manila Medical Center. It was not until Saturday when she got discharged from the hospital and she finally went home. It was a really sad Christmas for me and for the whole family since that was the first time that our Christmas Holidays went into sudden tears of fears. Her platelets count was enormously changing. It was like 110 from the start and it went down to 80, then down by 70...went up to 91, and down by 84 counts.
I was told that the normal count should be around 150.And from the figures my sister has gotten into, it was really alarming. We were told that the doctors need to have constant monitoring of her blood test, because if her platelet counts moved down to 50, a blood transfusion more or less was needed. And that scared the hell out of me. I’m a broken window when it comes to medical stuff so whatever things I've heard from others about Dengue, made me feel much worried. All I knew was my sister is sick. On the night of Christmas Eve, we decided to bring our loving dogs outside the hospital for my sick sister would get to see them. You don't know how much our three dogs mean a lot to us, they are like a part of the family. Moving on, we asked the nurse in charged if we could possibly bring her down and perhaps she could possibly see our dogs outside waiting for her. The nurse said yes as long as she's still around the hospital premises. The thing was if she was only allowed to roam around the hospital, she wouldn't get a peek to our dogs outside. So what we did was, we asked the guard on duty, if she could stay beside the Emergency Room gate, and we were allowed but that wasn't too close to where my dogs were staying. After a long convincing with the guards, we smoothly wheel chaired my sis outside the hospital and went to the near blocks where my dogs at. She went into tears seeing our dogs and our little one seemed like they have been away from each other in like forever. We didn't have the traditional Noche Buena though, but the important thing was we're complete in welcoming Christmas. We stayed outside until 1 in the morning. On the 25th, mom and I went to Black Nazarene Church to attend mass and offer prayers for my sister, and we felt relieve. After a queue of waiting on the following day, the doctor said she could finally get discharged although she has not reached yet the normal level but with the entire test, he said my sister is going to be fine.

That was the moment I knew that it’s really our Almighty God who will save us from anything. And my faith was strong. I’m definitely a great believer of my faith.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and for all the care.:)

I really appreciate every single one of you..:) You know who you are.....

A Sad Christmas for ME.....

It's going to be a sad Christmas for me. My sister is sick and was admitted yesterday in the hospital. She was suspected to have Dengue fever since the number of her platelets dropped into 105. I don’t know about the normal count everyone should have. But the only thing that kills me right now is it happened on the Christmas season where everyone is expected to have fun and celebrate.I'd like to take it easy for at least my sadness wouldn't be noticeable. This will be the first time that we'll be spending the special day in the hospital.Well, I just wish my sister will get better before the New Year's Eve. I don't want to welcome 2010 with any of us is sick, that’s going to be awful. And I was supposed to take pictures of her so I could atleast share it to everyone, but too bad again, I don't have my phone with me.
I hope my dear blogger friends and readers would pray for the fast recovery of my sis.
Still, I'm wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!!
Have fun and enjoy for at least you're all in your best shape.:)

till then,
cza

Health Insurance is a Must Have.

My sister is sick and now being confined in a private hospital shouldered by her health card. I'm now starting to appreciate the worth of having your own health insurance. She's currently being taken care of in a private hospital in Manila. She has this cozy room with own television, refrigerator little extra bed for her guest and bathroom with hot and cold shower. They have different room rates and we actually just preferred to have the smaller room since with no fridge since there's a big difference with the pay but too bad there's a lot of people getting sick this Holiday that made the other cheaper rooms occupied.
At least comfy on our side though. Since she has a health insurance card, it's really a good thing that we don't need to shell out big amount of money not until she get out from the hospital and buy medicines for her self medication. It's really a relief when you're insured with regards to your health. Well, that's a friendly thought of getting sick. It crossed my mind that Health is really Wealth.

Fixed Income Team Christmas Party

Last night was our dearest Team Christmas Party held in just one of the conference rooms in the office. It was my first Christmas with them and I did enjoy. Even if some of us were still not timed out from work, we still managed to celebrate the party with a blast.
Thank God there were no client queries to interrupt us in the middle of entertainment. We were like kids again that night. We all played games competitively as if it would add a portion to our salaries as a reward. I didn't win though.
We also have varieties of food that we're perfect to everyone. There's pizza, spaghetti, sausages, sushi and a lot more.
It's another treasure moments to cherish...

It feels so good to feel the spirit of Christmas!
