I got cursed!

Poor me, I have given this opportunity just recently that was almost worth $9 but when curse hit me, $9's also gone by the wind.
This was the scenario, I checked my email and found out I have a task, so I took time to write this 200 words post to meet the deadline. So, while I was trying to submit the post and its link, it just didn't go through for some reason. There was an error occurred that hindered me to post it, so I went back and re-arranged everything I thought was wrong. There wasn't any, actually! So, i went back to submit it again and then again for another time, it just didn't work. I was pissed and frustrated. Task will most likely be up in a day so there's no way I have to wait for another day. Same thing I did. I went back to fix those errors that are really NOT errors. Holy Moly, What in the hell is wrong with that???? I spent time and effort just to submit the post on time and then for some reason it couldn't work perfectly.
I got cursed! But I digress!. Too much! Anyway, how y’all folks doing?? If ever you encountered the same way, please let me know and let's share this agony!..

Till next time buddies!

Get Skype! Get connected!

If I have to live back in ancient time, I would have missed this modern technology. As far as convenience is concern, technology has saved me from a lot of circumstances. Lately, I am fond in using Skype as my means to communicate to any of my relatives and friends across the globe.

With Skype, I could be able to video/voice call them anytime I want without thinking of the charges I might incurred. It's really the faster way to get connected. Well, if given a chance to experience living in my grandparent’s time that would be awesome! But, I'm sure I would always want to go back in this modern time when everything else is beyond reach!

So Have you all  downloaded Skype?. You should be!.

Buying First Home Benefits

Good News everyone!
Who among you are still not done in filing taxes yet? I have relatives and friends who live in the States and they have been very busy lately for filing their taxes.I was just talking to a friend of mine who's really excited in claiming her tax credit since she just gave birth on her first child plus they bought a house years ago.She told me she is expecting for more credits this time compared from the amount of money she got last year.Well, the good news for her and for all of you who are just first time homebuyers or those who have not owned in the last three years can received as much as $8000 tax credit. This is really fantastic deal for buying first home. At this point where everyone is having a hard time dealing with economy, prices all go up, it's a good thing to receive good amount of money out of credit. It is really something to look forward to. I am sure my relatives and friends are so excited for this as this money can go along way in paying their debts off. A lot of people can totally benefit from this so as long as you meet the entire requirements which was fully discussed in this article.

Due to the number of scenarios in which first time home owners find themselves, it is important to research and fully understand this tax credit in order to receive the maximum benefit.

Car insurance

Having your own car or wheels is very convenient if traveling is one of the things you love to do. Cars are now considered necessity for some people especially if public transportation is hard in one's location. Buying your own car means allotting some money to have your car an insurance new auto. Car accident is something that we would try our very best to avoid. But as they say, accidents happen even when you least expect it.

My friend who just recently bought a new car made sure she has dealt with a good insurance company that offered her a great deal for insurance new car. It's better to understand each policies and standard rules since there are a lot of insurance companies in the market that might differ in some terms. It’s nice to know that my friend got to know this insurance new for her new car to free her from worries and be responsible enough as a car owner and driver.

IF

If  I were a food, I'd be a pasta
Everyone's all time favorite I guess
If  I were a month, I’d be December
I love holidays and the spirit of Christmas
If  I were a day of the week, I'd be Friday
Thank God It's Friday.. for a weekend to look forward to
If  I were a time of day, I'd be 9 pm
The time when peaceful evening comes
If  I were a planet, I'd be Jupiter
I just like Jupiter
If  I were a direction, I would be RIGHT
I'm not damn good in North East West and South thing.
If  I were a piece of furniture,I'd be a couch
So everyone will look for me..
If  I were a liquid, I'd be Water
I'd love to give life!
If  I were a tree, I'd be a Christmas tree
I get decorated and loved for a month or so, who wants anymore
If  I were a tool, I'd be a Hammer
Atleast I'm pushing myself too hard for work
If  I were a flower, I'd be a lili
Lilys are so beautiful and magical looking
If  I were a kind of weather, I'd be rain
Everyone gets pissed when it rains, they dont like it, But sometimes people dance.
If  I were a musical instrument, I'd be a piano
Sounds classical to me
If  I were a color, I'd be sky blue
You know the feeling when you look up at the sky and it's the perfect color, and clear of clouds, Yeah i wanna be that
If  I were an emotion, I'd be HAPPY
When everyone's happy, I can say they LOVE is just easy to give..or the other way around
If  I were a fruit, I'd be an apple
Apple has something to do with religious history..
If  I were an element, I'd be wind
Wind can knock you down, or lift you up.
If  I were a car, I would be a van
Everyone could fit in.
If  I were an ice cream, I would be coffee crumble
my favorite ofcourse
If  I were a place, I'd be a church
I want to hear everyone's prayers, I want to be in a peaceful place
If  I were a material, I'd be a gold
So once they owned me,they would take good care of me
If  I were a taste, I'd be sweet
not like i wanna be sour
If  I were an object, I'd be an camera
Get to capture all the moments that people want to remember, i would love that
If  I were a body part, I'd be eyes
I want to see the world from someone elses eyes
If  I were a facial expression, I'd be a crooked smile
The most mysterious facial expression

So, If I were you, tagged yourselves!

I can't even get a title for this post!

Sue me for being lazy this days for not updating and not even around in awhile, although EC dropping is still being taken care of, then probably we're calling it truce.

Half of my time lately is being engaged in reading books. I missed the old days where I usually grab something to read. And now, I'm trying to get back in the loop. I went online, checked in Shelfari where I get tons of recommendation of books to read. I now have a complete set on the list for 2010 books. Currently, I'm reading The Shadows of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, courtesy of my manager. I have to return it in a week though.
Come last week of February, I'll be taking exam for Masters. Sometimes, I wanted to pursue another degree, MBA i think. But there were a few times when I don't feel like going to back to school to study again but thinking that it would be a plus factor so I could be way competitive in the future, is enough for me to consider going to GRADUATE SCHOOL this time.. And another thing is, I'm feeling blessed at this since I'm one of those people who are not degraded to go to school, that's the contrary I guess.
Oh well, Sometimes, I feel I really don't push myself on what I really want to do. The problem is ME! I have lots of interest, but I'm pretty sure there's one thing on the TOP of everything. I don't know. But maybe you know. Tell me, Should I go and aim for my Masters Degree and study again or NO?

Darn it, never mind! Thanks for reading!

laughing out load!

Today was really freakin' hilarious. I was laughing all day long while chatting to my new found friends. I won't go in details but this day has been a nice to remember though. Sadly, I have to end my day going to my professor's wake. It's sad and always been sad going in a burial. And I hate goodbyes all the time. To put on the brighter side, I'm learning to love each day that passes. Each day is a day to remember and build good memories.
Have a hilarious weekdays!

till then,

My MOM's day off from WORRIES

When everything else is well-planned, there's no way it would end up a mess. I’ve been lurking around for the past three weeks of a good treat for my mom's birthday and as I did mention in my previous post, a relaxing spa is definitely on the list, and finally, my mom's birthday was indeed memorable to her and to us.

My sis and I took a half day off from work so we could pick up mom at home by 3.She was still clueless on where on earth we'll bring her. When we're around in Roxas Boulevard Manila, she thought maybe we'll set for a quick snack in Harbour Square. And she was wrong. We passed through a lot of fancy restaurants along the way, and she almost end up  asking on why we're off to dine when in fact she prepared food at home.
To put her out in a misery, we arrived in Wensha Spa. And she was stunningly surprised...

All the spa treatments includes a buffet meal and a choice of shabu shabu. Prices are a bit okay. And each guest are allowed to stay for as long as 6 hours to enjoy the inclusive amenities just like Jacuzzi and Sauna Area.
Before we walked to the locker area, one attendant gave us pair of slippers and had our shoes surrendered in return. We were given a sensor key lock for our lockers to ensure security of our belongings. I had number 52 locker, mom's got 13 and sister got 97..

Lockers Area was spacious enough and clean. Mom took a picture of me.

Then we abruptly wore our bathrobes on.  Each guest should wear bathrobe provided by Wensha Spa especially if you're going to head off to dining or to massage area. Mom and I took the time to pose for a picture although it’s really not allowed for protection of guest as they say.

And finally we headed to relaxing Jacuzzi and Sauna Area. It has a wide screen television just like in the movie house. I really felt so surprised when everyone else is walking NAKED… really naked. Although men's area was distinctively separated from women's area, we felt a little uncomfortable at first with the setting. . Since it was our first time there, we really have no idea with what was going on. I've been into other spa before, but it wasn't like this. But we managed to ride on. And everyone else doesn't seem to care to each other. That's nice or else it might add up to awkward feeling...haha.. Taking pictures were again prohibited of course...you now know the reason behind it. But I happened to have a quick shot of mom.

After sometime, mom headed off to Foot Spa Area and while we had our early dinner. I was mesmerized with their Foot Spa area. It was a very nice ambiance. It was pretty dark inside but I managed to take a night mode shot for mom. She was watching news while the attendant was doing her spa.

I so love the dining areas. The food is okay but not something that you would brag about. It's just fine. But I did enjoy the unlimited ice cream.

After dinner, we went to the Body Massage area together with Mom after she just got her Foot Spa. And it was absolutely good though there were few times when I felt like the therapist was going to break my bones but she seemed so nice to asked me from time to time if she's getting a little hard on me. But afterwards, I felt so relaxed. Mom said the therapist was well trained.
We did have fun. I felt like it was also my birthday. It's really a good family bonding. Too bad my father wasn't there, he had work. But our stories and pictures were enough for him to prove that my mom did enjoy her birthday. That's really our goal, to make our MAMA feel so loved and special.
Before going home, we managed to took some pictures outside Wensha Spa.

When we arrived home, We couldn't miss the day passed without our dear mother have her wish on her cake and we sang the Happy Birthday Song for her...

They headed off to Laffline Comedy Bar for some late at night entertainment. I didn't make it since I'm sleepy from the massage..I would never have second thought in spending money for my MAMA.. Life is too short for her not to enjoy it. We'll only have one mother in the world, but we have a lifetime to prove our LOVE to her.. And I'm glad she's our MOTHER.

PayPal Wishlist

As I opened up my mail, I got a surprised that I received earnings from PayPal WishList. The instructions given to join were just easy and I figured I could give it a try since I have a Facebook account.

There's again another reason for me to spend..hahaha..
Blessings really come when you needed it the most..haha..
Since pretty mom Kathy of Woman, Abbey Mae and Mom and a Warrior has been asking me for a coffee treat, I couldn't say no for this. So Kathy let me know when could we grab a cup of coffee..hahaha..

SoGoPro a little community, my HOME

There is little community out that can make you really feel at home and unique.

I found a lot of friends, great friends I should say even if we're across the globe. Distance didn't matter to build friendship. Cultures are at no stake. Language is not a barrier. Age brings no difference. It's just it. We're just friends by heart. And this month, it has been a year since the first blog where we feel like all connected as ONE.

I’m talking about SoGoPro. This is where I feel belong, and will always be my home.
Happy 1st year SoGoPro!!!

Tiger Award

I love this award given by my two good friends Jenny of  the way i use to be and David of Basic Blogonomics. Well, according to them, the tiger award is about wishing everyone to have a good health and prosperity on the year around.

Thanks for this! I really appreciate the two of you for sending me this.
I'd love to send this to my friends but it seemed that we shared the same circle of friends and it is already being sent to them.

Unplanned plan.....

I feel like I haven't been around in ages but not with my friends who I see to it to make my daily rounds as usual.

My mom's birthday is tomorrow and I'll be taking a half day off from work so I could possibly make things done by tomorrow as what we've planned. We'll be taking our mom in a spa somewhere in Pasay where if you probably know Mall of Asia or the biggest mall in Asia is just a few blocks from it.
So, the little treat of spa would cover everything from a full body massage to foot spa. Use of Jacuzzi and sauna bath is inclusive. A choice of buffet meal will be served either for lunch or dinner. After that, we'll head for a dinner and if my mother is adventurously enough, we'll let her try the Bungee Jumping. And everything else is still tentative. We're still looking on what to do on mom's special day. But a Spa treat is definitely a must for my super worrier mother. :)..I’ll tell you the whole details the day after tomorrow and probably share some pictures too :)..

Pet peeves list. I have mine and I am sure, so are you..

Pet peeves? Who doesn't want to rant about anything that annoys us??

What are your pet peeves guys? If you're not totally aware, I’m hoping you are.. Pet peeves are something you hate or things you always get annoyed or feel distracted to..
I know it's cool to appreciate things but in times we'll be caught of guard by some distractions.

Here's my list:
**bad personal hygiene..
You need to agree with me with this. Sometimes, smelly person are a bit annoying. It makes you get distracted.
**flying cockroaches and scary spiders
These two make me really want to be insane. It totally freaks me out.And I hate to see it around. They are literally annoying for me.
** Guys who wear jeans with flip flops on during dates. (Not shoes). And I'm literally referring to GUYS not GALS
You're excuse if you're just off for a grocery shopping or maybe to pick up your little one from school.. But not to the extent that you are with someone who dresses really fine as if she's totally underdressed.
Let's say a movie date maybe. I'm just referring to a guy who goes on a date with flip flops.
** When some other people think they own the world and are just careless enough to show off.
It says it all....
** Dirty fingernails
I even hate myself if my fingernails started to look as if I have a brownie on hand in forever. It's okay to have long nails, and I currently have those, but it would be pleasing to have it clean :)
** Smokers who’s not so sensitive
I don't hate smoking, I just didn't do it. And my dad smokes a lot. When I say a lot, it’s really MORE that we usually fight over it. I just don't want him to suffer later on. So speaking of insensitive, those who smoke when in fact the place is crowded and everyone else might sniffed as if it's so good to inhale it.:) Too bad if you're asthmatic person, you should have watched out for these people.
** Movie House Distractors
People talking and so much whispering inside the movie house even the film is currently playing. They are really annoying as if they rented it for private.
** Long time no see and then suddenly APPEARS
Family members who do not talk to you for years, but when they need or want something, they are around and call you even as early as 6 in the morning.I love family but shouldn't we be together through the good and the bad?.
**Out of the reality peeps
I hate it when I'm talking to someone seriously and suddenly it seemed that person is getting it with the straight look in my eyes and at the end, I'll be asked, what was it again??? It makes me really wanna die..

If you're having more interest in reading this, then you could move on to next part and I should probably admit I couldn’t help feeling a little peeved about myself. I do sometimes have shortcomings.

**I hate it when I make stupid mistakes and realized I could have done this and that after all.
**I hate it when i misspelled and cut the words that I've learned through text I sometimes even don't understand what I mean when reading it by myself.
**I hate it when I buy something I like and buy every color of it. As if it's for a week long uniform.
**I hate tardiness! I'm always a minute tardy to work. See??? I'm guessing I'll be on your top pet peeves list for being late.
**Talking about call time and being late, when the call time is 9 am expect me to come by 10 am. It's an hour ahead.
**I cancel meeting or friend’s day out in just a minute ahead before the call time. I'm so the party thrasher.
**I hate myself for just saying yes all the time just to end up the discussion when I'm busy, but I really don't know why I did say YES.
**I hate myself for taking a lot of sweets in a day and ended up thinking how to wash down the calories.

With these, I bet I'll be qualifed to be called pet peeve.
If you're definitely enjoying reading this, I guess, you find yourself under my pet peeves, or you’re probably just like me who hates yourself sometimes. Or maybe you want to comment and give me your pet peeves too...

Anyway, it's just pet peeves, whatever it is, we all live in the world of imperfection and so do I. And I guess, that makes us a better person to conquer every pet peeve we encounter.

Fire Alarm Systems will SAVE our HOME

I was watching the news last night and got caught up by a fire somewhere near us. It's actually 15 minutes drive away so it's clear enough that I was sadden by this. They were a lot of families who lost their home thinking that we've just welcomed the year.

It got me thinking that it's really important to have a home security system that would probably save us from any circumstances like fire. One of these is fire alarm system that consist of a central control panel to which smoke alarms and heat detectors are connected, along with bells or horns that are activated when the system triggers an alarm. These fire alarms system is really helpful for preventive measures or to get a home secured away from bad incidents like fire.

It's hilarious!

Its payday tomorrow but I already got my pay slip a day ahead.
Well, I was kind of disappointed about it that I'd almost got it ripped off because of the exaggerated tax.
It's really hilarious that it was almost one fourth of my pay. Should it really be like that? Oh well...I just hope the money they get from me or from everyone else or the so called taxes should be really for government projects for roads, highways down to streets or for the loved of the nature or maybe to improve the society.
Oh well, how would I know that one?.. Okay, I don't want to brag anymore!
So moving on, since its payday tomorrow, it’s also a payday for my bills. Of course credit companies would love me tomorrow, I have credit cards to pay for, a monthly mortgage for the condominium unit I'm sharing with my sister, my cellphone bill, groceries and a lot more..
Before it gets to zero, I'll make sure to get a portion for my mom's birthday this 19th.

Oh boy, Money really goes away in a just a blink!

Black Nazarene 2010

Hey!I haven't updated my blog this past weekend but there's no way that I missed doing my rounds to your pages.I guess you've seen my name in your chatbox or I probably dropped an EC. Just got bucy from atteding the Black Nazarene Crusade last Saturday. My family has been doing that every year and I'm telling you,we never missed to be one of those million people who'd like to celebrate the feast of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo every first month of the year. We struggled last year but we've survived.Whenever we're down or how rough things could be, we always go to the Black Nazarene and lay everything to Him.It' a place where we could find peace and enlightment. Same thing goes whenever we're things go on the way we wanted it to be, we never missed to say our gratitude.
I believe it takes just a strong faith to keep us going...

Happy Monday everyone!!

Movie marathon

My movie entries for this week are these:
Man on Fire

This, I guess would be the film of all time. I am certain that this is one of the finest movies I've ever seen. Denzel Washington as Creasy plays as the bodyguard of rich family's daughter in Mexico named Pita which is played by Dakota Fanning. The story follows Creasy, an ex-CIA operative who takes revenge on a gang that kidnapped Pita the little girl he was hired to protect.

It's not just full of action but this movie is really heart breaking.

8 Below

After watching this film, I started to have an indispensable admiration to all the dogs not just with Husky. I still can't imagine how they were able to train all the dogs just for them to be perfect on screen. They are really smart and marvelous. If you're looking for something to watch with the entire family, 8 below should be on your list.

Happy watching on this cold weather...

I looked back and be reminded...

A few days ago, it was officially 2010.And a few days ago; I started to think of what kind of person I become over the last year and what made my 2009 a pretty good year.
I made some highlights of every month as far as I can remember.
January
It was my mom's birthday and the year we welcomed the start of 2009

February
After so many sleepless nights, we had our thesis done along with my team mates and so we're ready to graduate on April.

March
We went to Singapore for a break courtesy of my mom and sister. It was really fun traveling to another side of the world.I’m still thankful until now for my Singapore treat.

April
I attended one of my best friends 18th birthday or the so called debut.

And the day my parents shed tears watching me received my diploma as I graduate from college; they also felt like they graduated from all the expenses. Thanks to them for sending me to school, I could now say, I have a degree!!

May
I got employed after I graduated on the previous month as a research analyst in one of the multinational companies, Thomson Reuters.

June
I got my first pay check being an analyst and my dog,Chinee's birthday.

July
My other dog birthday, Chino. And I got protected with my first cervical cancer vaccine.

August
I had my 1ST birthday celebration at work. Thanks to their warm greetings.

September
I got to go for Ice Skates from stressful work.

October
I started to get fascinated in doing my own blog after so many time I spent in just reading other blogs.
That's what got me here..:) And I realized that "my art matters".

November
I get to meet people all over the world and be friends with them through the world of blogging.
******they are the people under my all time favorites*******
We are friend by hearts..
December
I ended my year with hopes and dreams for the year 2010.
Let me guided by our good Lord with this light to become a better person as I walk through the journey called LIFE!

I’ve never been perfect for the past year and I know I wouldn’t be just like everyone else but I did try to become the better person as I could possibly be, a person I could be proud of...
This year, let's all be a blessing to everyone.
