Learning photoshop in 2010!

I used to dream of having a twin sister when I was a kid. I always find having someone who exactly seems like the other. Its silly when someone wonders and intelligently guess whose A and who’s the other A. But, unluckily, I didn't have a twin. I just have a sister. At least I have one though.

I remember one time I had the time in editing some pictures I took by myself and I ended up having a reciprocated my picture to make it seems like I have a twin.
It's pretty obvious that it was an edited one. I didn't use much of the available tools for photo shop since I barely know anything about doing it, but lately I realized I wanted to learn more about editing graphics or pictures. If only I have time.
I have a friend who basically knows something about editing pictures and making fancy images out of the ordinary. She just learned through the photoshop free tutorials which she gladly found while browsing the net and after some time she started trying to do it by herself.

Next year, I'm set to learn for wandering the power of photo editing. I'm going to make my self worthy whenever I'm free from work.

(that was me and my fake twin..haha)
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!

Firecrackers in Welcoming the New Year

Filipinos are fond of welcoming the New Year with firecrackers without any doubt of spending big amount of money just to make a large amount of noise and to see the beautiful lights it creates. I always want to make noise during New Year's Eve in my belief that it would send the bad spirits and bad luck away but I'd rather make noise through the use of some musical instruments or even just the use of kitchen utensils.

Last year, there were almost 450 reported cases of injuries and some were hit by strayed bullets. It’s good to welcome the coming year with complete set of fingers and be not physically hurt.
Let's be more careful and be safe as we welcome another prosperous New Year.

Countdown begins for 2010

Only few hours to go, and we'll bid goobye to 2009 but we'll welcome a prosperous 2010.Happy New Year to Everyone!

To my dear blogger friends and readers, thank you for the wonderful 2009 we've shared together through the world of blogging!.
We'll still be friends by heart as we welcome another exciting year.

Happy New Year to ALL!!

Alexa is a powerful tool!

When I started blogging way back few months ago, I was baffled with all the applications and widgets I needed to have. I've been looking around other sites especially to some people who do blogs and was stacked peeking on every single thing they have on their own page. Every time I go to another site, there is always the little box which indicates the traffic rank or it would mean on how well your site is being visited against any other sites. So, I started putting my own Alexa toolbar for the benefit of being ranked. Alexa ranks each website based on the number of visitors it receives. However it only counts those who visit your site and have already downloaded the Alexa toolbar. Anyone can download the toolbar for free which is automatically added to your browser and tracks the sites you’re visiting. Increasing visits from those who do not have the Alexa toolbar installed will not help your Alexa ranking. Take note, the lower the Alexa ranking number the more heavily visited the site. I started with almost ten million and now I'm down to just a million. That's a big improvement for me. My goal for the mean time is to hit less than a million and from then on, hit less than a hundred thousands or more. I know it's possible with all every means. And I'm doing whatever is necessary just to hit my goal in time.

Get rid of Dark Circles around your Eyes!

We all love to have smooth, radiant, fresh looking skin but if you're suffering from acne blemishes, having clear and perfect skin can seem like a distant dream. But having a perfect skin doesn't come with just a blink of an eye. Dark Circles around the eyes is one of the most common problems with all ages. Eyes are one of the first places to show aging.Skin around the eyes is extra thin so you'll want to protect it especially from too much sun exposure. It’s better to use an eye cream daily just to prevent having those dark circles around the eyes. A great one is Clarins Eye Contour Care SPF30. It’s actually designed for the eye contour area that doesn't burn, sting, irritate or bring you to tears. It is basically formulated with a revolutionary plant-based complex that helps prevent lines, wrinkles and premature aging.

With proper care, you no longer need to hide your face behind the mask.
As beauty comes, confident grows!

The true-love tale of Boyfriend and Girlfriend

My long wait was over. I've finally watch the short film entitled The true-love tale of boyfriend and girlfriend starred by the ever beautiful Hilarie Burton and dearest handsome Austin Nichols brought to us by Southern Gothic Productions.I could say it was really worth the wait and I guess it has been one of the best eight minutes of my life. I’m not exaggerating. I love the sweet lines, the costumes or the wardrobe, the location, and everything in the short film. It’s really southern gothic.
It is now available to download so we could have it in our dear IPODs or to any music player for only $2.99.
Not bad for the year ender film.

I am a Great Believer of my FAITH

We spent our Christmas Eve and the whole day of Christmas in the hospital since my sister has not been recovered from Dengue and still being confined in Manila Medical Center. It was not until Saturday when she got discharged from the hospital and she finally went home. It was a really sad Christmas for me and for the whole family since that was the first time that our Christmas Holidays went into sudden tears of fears. Her platelets count was enormously changing. It was like 110 from the start and it went down to 80, then down by 70...went up to 91, and down by 84 counts.
I was told that the normal count should be around 150.And from the figures my sister has gotten into, it was really alarming. We were told that the doctors need to have constant monitoring of her blood test, because if her platelet counts moved down to 50, a blood transfusion more or less was needed. And that scared the hell out of me. I’m a broken window when it comes to medical stuff so whatever things I've heard from others about Dengue, made me feel much worried. All I knew was my sister is sick. On the night of Christmas Eve, we decided to bring our loving dogs outside the hospital for my sick sister would get to see them. You don't know how much our three dogs mean a lot to us, they are like a part of the family. Moving on, we asked the nurse in charged if we could possibly bring her down and perhaps she could possibly see our dogs outside waiting for her. The nurse said yes as long as she's still around the hospital premises. The thing was if she was only allowed to roam around the hospital, she wouldn't get a peek to our dogs outside. So what we did was, we asked the guard on duty, if she could stay beside the Emergency Room gate, and we were allowed but that wasn't too close to where my dogs were staying. After a long convincing with the guards, we smoothly wheel chaired my sis outside the hospital and went to the near blocks where my dogs at. She went into tears seeing our dogs and our little one seemed like they have been away from each other in like forever. We didn't have the traditional Noche Buena though, but the important thing was we're complete in welcoming Christmas. We stayed outside until 1 in the morning. On the 25th, mom and I went to Black Nazarene Church to attend mass and offer prayers for my sister, and we felt relieve. After a queue of waiting on the following day, the doctor said she could finally get discharged although she has not reached yet the normal level but with the entire test, he said my sister is going to be fine.

That was the moment I knew that it’s really our Almighty God who will save us from anything. And my faith was strong. I’m definitely a great believer of my faith.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and for all the care.:)

I really appreciate every single one of you..:) You know who you are.....

A Sad Christmas for ME.....

It's going to be a sad Christmas for me. My sister is sick and was admitted yesterday in the hospital. She was suspected to have Dengue fever since the number of her platelets dropped into 105. I don’t know about the normal count everyone should have. But the only thing that kills me right now is it happened on the Christmas season where everyone is expected to have fun and celebrate.I'd like to take it easy for at least my sadness wouldn't be noticeable. This will be the first time that we'll be spending the special day in the hospital.Well, I just wish my sister will get better before the New Year's Eve. I don't want to welcome 2010 with any of us is sick, that’s going to be awful. And I was supposed to take pictures of her so I could atleast share it to everyone, but too bad again, I don't have my phone with me.
I hope my dear blogger friends and readers would pray for the fast recovery of my sis.
Still, I'm wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!!
Have fun and enjoy for at least you're all in your best shape.:)

till then,

Health Insurance is a Must Have.

My sister is sick and now being confined in a private hospital shouldered by her health card. I'm now starting to appreciate the worth of having your own health insurance. She's currently being taken care of in a private hospital in Manila. She has this cozy room with own television, refrigerator little extra bed for her guest and bathroom with hot and cold shower. They have different room rates and we actually just preferred to have the smaller room since with no fridge since there's a big difference with the pay but too bad there's a lot of people getting sick this Holiday that made the other cheaper rooms occupied.
At least comfy on our side though. Since she has a health insurance card, it's really a good thing that we don't need to shell out big amount of money not until she get out from the hospital and buy medicines for her self medication. It's really a relief when you're insured with regards to your health. Well, that's a friendly thought of getting sick. It crossed my mind that Health is really Wealth.

Fixed Income Team Christmas Party

Last night was our dearest Team Christmas Party held in just one of the conference rooms in the office. It was my first Christmas with them and I did enjoy. Even if some of us were still not timed out from work, we still managed to celebrate the party with a blast.
Thank God there were no client queries to interrupt us in the middle of entertainment. We were like kids again that night. We all played games competitively as if it would add a portion to our salaries as a reward. I didn't win though.
We also have varieties of food that we're perfect to everyone. There's pizza, spaghetti, sausages, sushi and a lot more.
It's another treasure moments to cherish...

It feels so good to feel the spirit of Christmas!

Save VS Spend

There are only few days more till we say Hello to a Prosperous 2010.These holiday events are a lot of fun. We are all busy wrapping gifts, getting new clothes to wear, planning of reunions, renting a place for parties, and a lot more.
Unfortunately this holiday season can also end up costing us a lot if we aren’t careful.
Saving Money is good especially for the rainy days but it's really easier to be said than done. But there are a lot of ways on how we could help ourselves to save a little extra.
* Set Limit. - If we want to shop for something, consider having a limit on how much money we are willing to spend for a certain thing. Sometimes, we are just carried away with our unstoppable desires and we end up getting much more than what we really need.
* Selling our Old Stuff - Just look around the corner and we'll surely find something that still in good condition yet we don't need anymore. We could get money from selling it in a lesser price and use the money to buy something we need.
*Compare prices- Whenever we are in the groceries, shopping malls, or even doing online purchases, we all have the privileges to compare prices with the same products yet much cheaper from the other. But remember not to forget about the quality of products. And also keep in mind that not all expensive products are better than the cheaper one. Sometimes, it's just the brand.
*Don't take Magazines Voucher for granted. - We sometimes take for granted those friendly little coupon attached to magazine or other reading materials that would give us discounts in buying certain products. It’s time to watch out for coupons.
*Dress for Less - We all love to be fashionably attractive with the means of our attires. We tend to buy new clothes just for the sake of going to the flow. And we care less for the money we spend just to look good. But in order to save money, there are the means of Mix and Matches of Clothes.
We could re-use some accessories, clothes and even shoes for a different look. Just be creative in doing so. And you'll end up as if you're all brand new.
*Learn to say NO - With all the parties and gatherings around, we never say NO for it. There's nothing wrong in saying NO sometime especially if it would shed big amount of money. Yes, parties are good to mingle socially, but if it is done very often, our poor pockets will suffer too.

These are just some of the ways to
SAVE money. Always remember, whatever we do today is what future will brings.

Brittany Murphy's death

I was shocked upon hearing the news that Brittany Murphy died at the age of 32.I used to watch her in 8 mile co-starred with Eminem when she had a very noticeably acting from there. She was also starred in Just Married Movie with Ashton Kuthcer.According to the readings, the sudden death of the actress appeared to be natural and there were no suspicious circumstances in her death.

Murphy grew up in New Jersey but born in Atlanta on Nov 10 1977 and was later moved to Los Angeles to fulfill her dreams.

A post for my BLOGGER friends. It's for all of you.

I've recovered almost all the URLs under my blogroll and see to it to drop on all my friend's pages whenever I'm online whether just for a visit or to drop EC. I've met a lot of gals and buddies through the art of blogging. I always enjoy reading almost every post my friends do, just for me to get to know every single one of them even just through their writings. How I wish i could possibly meet them personally and express my gratitude for helping me throughout the process when I was a newbie, I'm still a newbie though. Every time I asked for exlinks and get responded with a YES, it feels so good knowing I'll be having another friend. And every time my site is being included in another blogroll and when someone signed up for my follow list, I feel so overwhelmed and again, grateful! It would mean another friend who'll visit my page and check on updates. We all want opportunities online to make easy money and we're all grateful to advertisers for giving us those, but just a while ago, it occurred to me that more than anything else is important in this world, and that when you're having great friends, building good relationship towards people and above all, letting all your friends you're grateful to have them.
And I’m telling you, I'm grateful to have good friends around me, and really grateful to my blogger friends. We may not totally know each other, we may be beyond reach, but sharing moments through our own pages brought us all together to build our circle of friends.

I'm grateful to all of you guys for starting a friendship here over the net.
It feels so good whenever we dropped by and say hi to each other.

So let's all keep on doing our rounds and be grateful to everyone.
You could re-post it too if you feel grateful to your friends and to share LOVE.
**I'm tagging everyone especially my friends."

Never Pick up Strangers (The Hitcher)

I remember watching this film and it really made my day. It's about a young couple who hit the road for a trip when suddenly it turned to be an aspalling journey. Starring Zachary Knighton as (Jim Halsey) and Sophia Bush as (Grace Andrews). And from watching this film, I came to realized this ' Never pick up Strangers'.There are lot of cruel people in the world and sometimes you get to encounter them on the road. It's either you'll have a sweet travel or a very dangerous one.
Anyway,if you're looking for some suspense this cold season,The Hitcher is one of the best options to consider.

Not too late to be grateful to November EC Droppers

I hope it's still not too late to commend people who dropped EC last November.I am very pleased and thankful for your efforrt to dropped on my page and EC as well. A bunch of thanks to you guys and I'd like to hit your December list as well.

Thanks to:

I'm really grateful to you friends!! See you in my list this December!

I wish I have more time.

I was speaking with a friend when finally I realized I haven't done shopping for Christmas because of work. My weekend will be roughly busy with other things to do, so it's clear enough that I would probably be on the rash a few days left before Christmas. How I wish I could just pull back time, so I could have been much better in time management. Oh well, we cannot turn back time. And speaking of time, I'm really running out of time to buy an exchange gift for our Christmas party this Monday.
The budget as required is now lower than 500 pesos. A Christmas wish list was created for us not to get so much hassle which is totally good since it would help us save time and effort in picking a gift.

Well, I might skip my lunch tomorrow to buy the gift...

Well, my Saturday night was happily spent in the year end event Christmas Party of the company I'm working with. We had a blast and really enjoyed the night with the variety of foods catered by Via Mare and the ever prestigious raffles, I didn't win though, I ended up being one of those loser when it comes to raffles, never been so lucky with that ever since. But it still heart breaking to know that I missed to get the big time raffles, and so were my friends.
I'd like to emphasize what the big time raffles include?

Well, just to forget about the junks, I made sure to enjoy the night with my friends.

We were all carried away to the dance floor and just let our frustrations slipped away for awhile.

It was again another frustrating yet memorable good time of the year of my life that I was able to share with my good friends; at least memories are not being raffled.

Christmas Hampers from Mr. Thomson Reuters

Christmas is a time of family, friends, colleague and sharing, and one of the best ways to show it is through giving Christmas Hampers. Few days are left for another year and 2009 has been interesting and wonderful times within the corporate world and nearly all of us have been effected by the economic upheaval. But there's no way to missed extending our gratitude to the people we've been with and work together as one. Now, more than ever employees and customers appreciate companies who acknowledge their staff efforts and customer support.
Finally, we’ve received early Christmas Hampers from the company.
We were as excited as everyone to see what kind of goodies were inside the bags.Almost everything you need to make pasta this Christmas eve were present, Toblerone Chocolates, Chip Ahoy cookies and many more. But did I mention that Swift Ham was included? Oh yes, there’s Ham and wouldn't like to bring home all of these?
It’s gonna be heavy to carry tough.

We never missed to have pictures taken with this early Christmas Hamper!

luther and kat with their HAM!!!

I am such a loser not until today!

It was our dear friend birthday last December 7.So,we planned to give her something special. We actually intended to surprise her with a not so late birthday greetings from us written in a star design papers and of course with yummy gourmet cake
. We’ve shared the chocolate gourmet cake that was equally sliced into 9 for lunch and we all had fun. We It was the first time I ever tried gourmet cake and for that reason I was such a big loser not until Kat's birthday. Gourmet cakes are really good. it was like eating ice cream and cake at the same time. I guess, it’s all because of its special frosting.

I'm certain that you don't want to be a big loser like me because you haven't tried this cake so you all have the means to try it by ordering
it or doing your own cakes with simple gourmet cake recipes at the comfort of your home.

I am a CHOCOLATE lover!

I love kids. Kids love chocolates. Therefore I love chocolates!
Well, that was really logical and may be considered truth. I actually like to spoil and splurge myself with chocolates especially after a long and tiring work.Every now and then, my family sees to it to have chocolates stored in our fridge. It’s actually good as dessert after every meal and at the same time we are enjoying having our favorites displayed on the fridge.
Last night, my sister brought home yummy chocolates that I absolutely can't resist. There were Toblerone mini’s, Hershey Kisses and Snickers which I freakin' love.I am really into milk chocolates but lately I've been craving for dark chocolates
.I was told by a friend who is also a chocolate lover that dark chocolates are good for the heart. It has a lot of heart benefits by reducing our bad cholesterol up to 10 percent and for our blood pressure. And by researching, found out that plain dark chocolates are the healthiest of all without having too much of sugar intake and the so called saturated fat. Certainly, these dark chocolates are proven to be beneficial.
So, as for now, I’ll keep myself indulged with these dark chocolates but I need to make sure to keep on my budget since chocolates are not that cheap.
I'm thinking to make homemade dark chocolates
for me since my mom knows a bit in doing it. I guess, it would be fun to do something you love.

Stylish Eye Glasses for my EYES!

Half of my time is being divulged in front of the computer due to the nature of my work. When I get home, I still can't avoid myself to stay away from the computer since there's nothing more to do at home. Although, our internet is down at the moment, but I still tend to keep busy playing some stored and downloaded games in the computer. With that, I started to feel something uncomfortable with my eyes. I noticed that I usually get head ache during night time, and I assume that it's because of facing the computer all the time that triggers to eye muscle fatigue. I recently talked to my mom about it and she suggested to get reading eye glasses for eyes protection. I was hesitant to that since I have never tried wearing eye glasses before even just for the fact that it's only for a time when I have to face the computer again. But knowing that it would help me and for my clear vision not to suffer, I'm now considering to get one though. While surfing the net, I found this stylish eye glasses that would surely make me convince to get one and finally get my eyes protected. I am definitely taking a step to completely maintain my 20/20 vision. You could also check here if you want to get your own.

Happy Birthday Hot Momsy RUBY!

Happy Birthday my dear blogger friend Ruby of surviving deployment
I'm wishing you more and more happiness with your whole family and good health.

Save our PETS with the help of VET LOCATOR

I had fun taking pictures of my super hyperactive dog turned to be sleepyhead named Chino. He’s a combination of Labrador and Japanese spitz but he mostly inherited the Labrador side. He usually plays around the house and get something to destroy and play with, say for an instance, our front door mat. But currently, he’s not on the mood to do it as he was not feeling well and I'm not used to see him that way. We didn't know if he had taken something that was not really edible at all. Or maybe just like us, there's a time that we don't feel good with maybe because of the weather. Just for our confusion to get settled, we have finally decided to consult a friendly vet about how is he doing right now. So we're actually on the look for veterinary clinics around the area for us to make sure if our beloved dog is just fine. That made me realized how helpful for the residents of USA and Canada is the vet locator where they could easily look for veterinary clinics or vet nearest to their area without having to consume a lot of time and effort in finding one for their pets in case of situation where they need to seek one. That’s really convenient and helpful on their end.

Give away gifts for XMAS!

Hey!
Early this morning, I was wrapping give away gifts courtesy of my mother for her friendly clients. I offered my not so talented hands to do it since my shift for work was not as early as 12pm.I figured if I have a creative wrapping ideas to show off. While doing it, I felt pressured on getting my own give away gifts for friends. I’ll find time on weekend though. My mom picked these little colorful handbags from Secosana. When you try to open it, it’s really not little at all. It could either be a handbag or shoulder bag at once. I haven't finished wrapping it all, just done with the first 10, there are 20 more to go, but probably I'll get it done later tonight.
I just hope mom would not let me wrap my own gift from her..lol.If she plans on giving me one because usually I get to asked it straight from her whenever we're out for little shopping...

till next time,

cza:)

1st of December

It's the first day of December. And I wonder what’s gonna be in the remaining days left till it's 2010.As of the moment, it’s 24 days before Christmas and I haven't done any Christmas gift shopping. I know I'll be stuck again with late shoppers who love to hoard booties out for sale, as if there's no tomorrow. I might plan to head this weekend and see what to get. I’m thinking it's best to give something that is useful. Probably, I need to get my check list done before the end of the week. After shopping which I’d like to claimed fun, a little expense though, I'd like to plan to go to a place where my family could spend holidays since it's definitely going to be a long weekend, I’d love to give my parents a treat to some place they haven't been to, something local yet awesome place to remember. One option is Subic, which would probably head us to Zoobic Adventure. We’ll see where our adventurous feet lead us. I guess, it doesn't matter as long as we're gonna be all together on the very special day.
